Here we go

I just arrived in Copenhagen yesterday evening and moved into my new room, which is very nice.
So the start seems to better than the last time… ;-)
Anyway… toady I already got my NBI ID and keys and stuff and a very long introduction on what to do during my stay… then it was already some hard work… cause there’s no time to waste…
If I understood the mails I got right… then I even got my room in the student dorm… which is something great, cause it’s cheaper and so on… eventhough my new landlady is nice, the room is far to expensive for me…
Anyway that’s the first entry for now…
Some pictures will follow later… I just have to sort out some computer issues…
Cheers

Raven vs. Pigeons

Who the hell likes pigeons?
Me usually not… or probably well done in a pan.
They are not very elegant, not beautiful and they are shitting everywhere…
and they were doing this on my lovely barbecue balcony too.
Which, as you might imagine, I didn’t like very much…
That’s why I asked for some help at doctor Google’s and ordered a plastic raven just a day later… and here we go!
Now my little animal companion is sitting on my balcony for a week and I havn’t had a pigeon since then… and in the words of the raven, I will have them “nevermore” ;-)

Isn’t that great and simple!
Stup pigeons!

Just at the right time

great isn’t it… I just decided to do my degree in Copenhagen and now some people think it’s a good idea to start the holy war against Denmark.
Anyway.. I’m planing to leave Berlin at the first weekend of March…
Because of security reasons the exact date and time wont be written here ;-)

This world is sick!?
And the only way to cope with that is to be even more sick…

Final decision

Today I made the final decision and rejected the job/master thesis offer I got from the surface science group in Berlin. Unfortunately I still don’t have a room in Copenhagen. But as I read some days ago: “Physicists have a genetic defect, which makes them way to optimistic”. So, here we go…

Fernweh

“Fernweh” is the german word for the opposite of homesickness, sometimes translated as wanderlust or itchy feet… but these words just don’t fit the german one… anyway!

Here are the news and the reason why I’m writing that stuff about “Fernweh”:
I’m going back to the Niels Bohr Institute beginning of march this year. It more or less only depends on the fact whether I’ll have an apartment or not. And I’m optimistic…

So I’m looking forward to have all of you visiting me in Copenhagen ;-)
