New weblog back-end

After several year and a few earlier attempts I will now try to migrate from my Blogger hosted Weblog to my own WordPress blog!

In case you registered the ATOM or RSS feed, you will have to change that :)

Phones and mobile phones

After quite a few good years with my broadband service provider (Hansenet), they finally started bitching around in the last few weeks holding back my mobile numbers as long as they could, ruining the good image. Meh … now they are history. If anybody needs a cheap prepaid mobile carrier in Germany I could recommend Simyo these days …

Besides that, and after the apartment is coming slowly together, I also managed to set up the phone connection there and both of us got mobile numbers by now.
Which reminds me … it’s really amazing, a normal SMS within Denmark costs about 1 Cent and a minute talking is about 8 Cents. Please let me know if you have a good explanation why SMS should be significantly more expensive in Germany!?

More moving …

As it is apparently not enough to move the apartment from Berlin to Copenhagen we also moved our offices this week. Though we only moved roomes on the save level in the same building. Now I am sharing the office with the two PhD students in our little Lundbeck Foundation group at NBI. The apartment, which is by the way coming along quite well, I am still sharing only with Heike :)

Moving, dinner and beaches

Over the weekend we unpacked another good fraction of our moving boxes, had a dinner invitation to Tina & Troels’ place (thank you very much) and found a bit time to see the sea on Sunday. We use the nice weather, went on a little bike trip to two small beaches close by and had a look at the new Tuborg harbour.

Also I set up the new place for postcards sent to us … as you know all are kept and used to decorate our apartment.
So you are welcome to contribute to this decoration ;) …
btw. thanks a lot to those of you that have already :)
(you can find a video of the creation in the member’s gallery)

CheckIn

Today we finally arrived in Denmark as a couple.
We went through the whole administration procedure and got Heike a residence permit, the holy CPR number, tax registration, networking, a mobile phone number, a bank account, a doctor and went to IKEA to complete our new Malm bed with the missing slatted frame … so it’s the first night in the new bed!
The living room is still packed with unsorted stacks of boxes … but that’s mainly for the weekend and maybe next week :(
