The Pedestrian is a fantastic (mostly) side scrolling puzzle-platform game with an interesting gameplay idea, mixing the 2D world of a little figure (pedestrian) and the 3D outside world, that both have to interact with each other to find your way through the story.
It’s been great fun, has got some nice, not too hard, puzzles and it’s certainly a recommendation …
Aer: Memories of Old is a nice, relaxing and calm open world ‘action’-adventure published by Daedalic Entertainment, where you – in the role of Auk (both woman and bird) – have to protect a world of islands in the sky from falling into darkness.
Maybe not the longest of stories and not the most challenging riddles, but fun and very soothing to play.
This is apparently how I/we spent this year in terms of computer games … at least as far as my Steam account is concerned. Find more details and game reviews and recommendations on my games page.
Never Alone is a beautiful puzzle-platform video game based on a traditional Iñupiaq tale. Guiding a little girl and her fox through the harsh icy world of northern Alaska, it can be played in local co-op mode and includes multiple insightful video clips that complement and enrich the story of the game. Have a look and enjoy both the game and the story!
Closure is a beautifully done puzzle-platform game packed with riddles and an urge to stay in the light. Fighting your way from door to door, you’ll have to prevent various little figures from falling into the void.
This game was extreme fun and hard to put down in between, so I can only recommend it :)
