Last week I had the pleasure to get one minute of private air time on the George Lamb Show to talk about LEGO and the LHC.

Last week some colleagues (and in some cases their family) helped building yet another one of the large Atlas Lego models. Thanks a lot!
For now it’s a nice decorative addition to my office interior :)
In a few weeks the LHC is restarting at never seen before energies. And to put some topping on this physics cream cheese, I’ll have the pleasure to be co-convenor of the ATLAS RPV/LL SUSY subgroup for one year, starting in April.
And just because that’s not enough yet, there is a few more news that came up recently … I’ll be giving a talk on ‘big data’ at ATLAS/CERN at the 11th Deggendorf forum on digital data analysis in mid June and one on Dark Matter searches in ATLAS at the IX International Conference on Interconnections between Particle Physics and Cosmology in Deadwood, SD end of June.
As the Atlas Lego model will be an official part of the Collider exhibition in Paris, due to open in November I received an official invitation to the inauguration party :)
Unfortunately it seems I wont find the money to actually go there :)
Anyways, it’s great to see the Atlas Lego model being an official part of this exhibition.
