Vessel

Vessel is a fun little puzzle-platform game where one has to guide the main character through various puzzles in a world bullied by so-called Fluros (in fact created by the main character himself).

The graphics is maybe not the greatest, but I had lots of fun with the gameplay / skills of the character and the puzzles, so you might want to give it a go …

Lost in Play

Lost in Play is extremely cute point-and-click adventure game where you have to control two siblings on their journey back home. Everything takes place in a mixture of real and fantasy worlds with not too-hard but fun puzzle to solve. Certainly fun to play and a definite recommendation if you are looking for a family puzzle/adventure game.

Thimbleweed Park

Thimbleweed Park is a point-and-click adventure like from the good old times :)
Like in Maniac Mansion or Day of the Tentacle one plays several nicely crafted characters in different times, yet all in a small town called Thimbleweed Park.
As in the classics, one gets a beautifully written story; lots of easter eggs and jokes; fun, crazy and some difficult puzzles to solve; and great (old school) graphics and sound / voice acting.
It’s been a real treat and I had to try both game modes (hard and casual) right one after the other » highly recommended !!!

There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension

There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is, using its own words, not a great point-and-click adventure game. It’s certainly not fantastic and not a great homage to old adventure classics, does not have a fun story and nice riddles to solve and was not at all extremely entertaining to play. And you should probably not make sure to give it a go.

p.s. The not-game is based on a game-jam entry called ‘There Is No Game’, which you can play for free here.

Planet of Lana

Planet of Lana is a beautifully crafted 2D puzzle platformer in which you must guide a girl named Lana and her little cat-like friend in their fight against a robot army invading their home planet.

A wonderful story told without any real words, really nice graphics and a memorable soundtrack with matching soundscapes made this game a lot of fun to play. Maybe not the hardest puzzles and not the longest game, but I am very happy to have found this gem.
