Flashback time! Obviously I have played Day of the Tentacle before, but recently I (re)played the remastered version together with the kids and – once again – (we) loved every bit of it.
Manoeuvring Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne through riddles in the past, present, and future has still been lots of fun and – given I seem to have forgotten a lot – a challenge once again.

The Whispered World is yet another fun point-and-click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment (played e.g. Deponia before). And once again the kids and I enjoyed following the story, the nice graphics and solving some fun, weird, tough riddles :)

Today we (this was a family effort) finished playing the forth episode of the Deponia series, a point-and-click adventure in four parts (so far), developed and published by Daedalic Entertainment.
The crazy, wild, bizarre adventures of the two (well, sometimes more) main characters Rufus and Goal required hundreds of puzzles to be solved and included tons of fun stories, ranging from fishing and platypus to hat fashion and time travel.
Certainly great fun and an enjoyable reminder of the good old times with classics like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, Legend of Kyrandia, Police Quest and many, many more …
The four episodes are called Deponia, Chaos_on_Deponia, Goodbye Deponia and Deponia_Doomsday, and you can get the complete story e.g. on Steam.

Just finished another very nice click-and-point adventure I once bought on Humble Bundle. Samorost 3, obviously the third part of a nice series, is another fantastic little game made by independent studio Amanita Design.
If you have a few minutes for a few days and love to solve riddles, you should give it a try …
Grim Fandango (remastered version) is one of the fantastic and classic LucasArts adventures.
Not much to say other than it’s beautiful … ahh … the good old days ;)
