The stress of the last days

Not just that the last weeks seem to pass by like nothing, you also (have to) do more things…
And especially the last days were a little bit to stessful… anyway!?
On Thursday I had a little end of danish course party (even if I’m going to the next lesson on Tuesday) and Barry’s (Ireland) good-bye party… cruising some pubs and a sausage stand in the pedestrian area at 4am, I ended up in bed at 6am. Which made my plans of being at university at 10am fail… but I made it to 11am (call me brave or stupid, you decide). After having some very productive hours there I went back to bed until Christoph (Germany) woke me up to go to Pedro’s (Portugal) BBQ. After that we went to my favourit club in Copenhagen, the VEGA.
The last time we got in and icewater for free… I love this!
It was also the last time of the Club Smile (Artificial Funk), my favourit DJ/Percussion team, at VEGA… what a coincidence!!!
Because of staying until the end, I again got to bed at 6am…
And again this was somehow not well planed… because of the Saturday Soccer Club each Saturday at noon.
But this time that was very special, because it was the “End of Season Ceremony”.
As you can guess my Saturday was quite chilling… and today started with some packing and emailwriting to get my money for the trips in the next weeks…
but now I’ll go to the park, cause we’re having beautiful weather over here…

PC problems + BBQ

After returning from the DFS meeting in Nyborg is was in such a good mood to actually fuck up my computer by playing a little bit too much with the linux kernel. damn.

but finally after a long sleepless night, some football and a BBQ in the park and some more hacking my computer is runnig again. yeeha. (thanks to Knoppix)

DFS Meeting

It’s a little bit late… but anyway!
As some of you might know, I was on a meeting of the Danish Society of Physics (DFS) in Nyborg/DK from Thursday to Friday. Unfortunately only two days… it was just awesome.
We stayed in the Nyborg Strand Hotel having a full 4 star service and some intresting talks and posters by physicists from all of Denmark. Which means it was not just enjoying the multiple serving meals and the little snacks in between, it was also some serious physics from geophysics up to biophysics, unfortunately no elementary particle physics…
Anyway it was nice having a room with ocean-view seeing the big bridge connecting Fyn and Sealand and so on… I can just recommend it…

btw
I have to thank J.D. Hansen at the NBI for making this possible (which is not normal for non-danes/non-members).

Alles hat ein Ende…

Ein schnelles Ende hatte mein Kurs “Physics in Molecular Biology”, da dieser mich in der ersten Woche etwas zu sehr gelangweilt hatte => abgeschossen! Nu hab ich sogar noch was besseres gefunden: “Neutronscattering in theory, simulation and experiment.”

Juni wohl erstmal weider in Berlin. Mal sehen wie lange… ;-)
