I am dealing with computers since I was in elementary school. For about the same time period, I am trying to keep / preserve some of my old computers or collect similar ones afterwards.
I just finished my setting up my new LAMP server (Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS).
I decided to go for the good old fashioned by-hand setup instead of the Plesk configuration I used in the recent past. Excuses to all of you who do not understand, by this was on my list for quite some time and since this blog is running on the new server as well, I thought it would be worth a post.
It’s time for the sixth Humble Bundle. Well, actually it already been some time and it’s only ten days left, in case you care for nice games from independent studios were you can choose yourself what to to pay! I bought mine yesterday and already had a short session with one of the six games included.
And since I am writing about games, I’ll just go on and mention that I also got caught (for reasons I myself have not yet fully figured out) by The Simpson: Tapped Out [SaMeOrigin] and Wordfeud [SaMeWord] on my iPad recently. They work pretty well for the five minutes before going to bed or in the morning after the little one got his first dish of the day … at least the latter one also exists for Android (link).
Für alle Berliner und Berlinfans … berlinfolgen.de hat neben einigen anderen Projekten (z.B. der Tagesschau-App) gerade den Grimme Online Award 2012 gewonnen. Ist ‘ne Sammlung von Kurzfilmen über Menschen in Berlin …
