John McClane is back with another amazing and even more unrealistic epic drama: “Live Free or Die Hard”. Just watched it last Friday.
It lacks some of the old movies’ coolness, which is mostly due to the exaggerated stunts (e.g. Jet-Fighter surfing, car-on-heli-shooting). But anyway, anything allowed for Bruce!
Probably not worth the cinema money, but still too good for a small tv-set ;-)

Discworld – Reaper Man
And another one about Death and the strange things that happen when he takes some time off … a good, but not quite as good as the previous one!
Discworld – Mort
After finishing the Rincewind story and the little digression to the discovery of the longitude I am back to the Discworld … This time I started the story of one of my most favourite characters on the Discworld: ‘I COULD MURDER A CURRY’ – Death. A story about him trying to find a apprentice! Another great one, even though the end is a bit odd, I think!?
Foosball Tournament
Yesterday was the first game day of the amazing “Kicken & Kieken” (to kick and to watch) foosball tournament!
This actually means that we, together with some 20 and more friends, are having a table football league at our place! With all the things you need for a proper league: We’ve got eleven teams, live video (and video archives), online-stats, a betting-game and some party and/or relaxing time with a movie (Little Miss Sunshine – very good) afterwards.
All results, stats and videos can be found on my webpage (you need to be a member for the latter one though)!
Longitude
Just finished this nice book about the history of the Longitude Act and the troubles of the man (John Harrison) who finally found Longitude by building the world’s first precision timekeepers (‘clocks’).
