After a stunning decent to Geneva airport, looking over the snowcapped mountains, a Big Bang Theory marathon and watching Armadillo yesterday, I just came back to the place where everything started at CERN: the NBI office 32 S-A10.
Finally … I got my diploma today!
So I am officially Dr. Mehlhase now :)

I just came home from my disputation and therefore almost final step in getting my Ph.D.
Now I just have to hand in the publication as a last step.
Both dissertation and disputation were graded magna cum laude (1.0)!
… puh …
but now it’s too hot to write anything more …
This is it! The day for my disputation has been set to July 12th 2010!
I finally handed in my thesis!
And I am writing this post from the little reward I got myself immediately after the submission: my new Google Nexus One!
