During my last visit to Hamburg for the Helmholtz-Alliance Kick-Off Meeting (what a name!?) I took a little break and went indoor climbing with some friends (greetz Lea and Michael).
It’s been a while since my last visit to one of these expensive places (roughly 15 Euro entrancefee). Still its always very much fun … at least until the point where my fingers couldn’t hold anything anymore, including me! I’m looking forward for more …
Dishwasher Salmon
Another great cooking evening together with friends enjoying some dishwasher salmon!
Found the recipe in the stupid dungeons of the internet and had to try!
It worked out kind a well, maybe the salmon had a bit too much. But for a first-timer, just fine.
Just wrap your salom into aluminium foil and put it into your dishwasher and start the normal program (you might have to interupt it, not to cook the salmon too long).
Good dinner and certainly great fun!
Discworld – (Faust) Eric
This was a short and also a bit more confusing but still good one! Well the confusion might have occured due to the fact that I had some interuptions in the reading process … Rincewind on another adventure, this time going through hell and other places together with his deamon-master child (Eric)?!?
American Gangster
Another time in the cinema.. this time with a “new” gangster movie directed by Ridley Scott. A kind long (we actuall had a break during the showing) but still very good movie, starring Denzel Washington as Frank Lucas, a drug kingpin from New York during the time of the Vietnam War. The movie is based on a true story and definitly worth watching!

Today I’ve been to the “Inertia”-session of the CinéGlobe short film festival in the “The Globe of Science and Innovation” at CERN. They had some very nice movies in the session, like “Moment de Gloire“, “EQUIPAJES“, “LA GUERRA” and “In memoriam“.
