GRIS

GRIS is an extremely beautiful and relaxing 2D platform adventure game in which you guide the female protagonist through various puzzles in different worlds, learning more and more skills as you go.
A touching story combined with gorgeously drawn and designed levels, as well as perfectly matched and well-crafted soundscapes and soundtrack, made this game an extreme pleasure to play.
I highly recommend playing GRIS if you like casual platformers and just want to have a good time.

DARQ

DARQ is a fantastic 2D side-scrolling puzzle-platform adventure game where you guide a little boy through a mysterious and sometimes scary dream world. By defying gravity, walking on walls and manipulating the environment, you must solve different types of puzzles and avoid enemies along the way.

With its nice puzzles, great atmosphere, nice graphics and gameplay, DARQ is certainly fun to play and I can only recommend it to any (hard-boiled) puzzle-adventure fan.

Monument Valley 1 & 2

Monument Valley and Monument Valley 2 are indie puzzle games with an isometric view in which you have to guide your main characters through mazes of optical illusions and impossible objects, manipulating the world around them in order to reach different platforms.

The puzzles are not particularly challenging, but very entertaining and soothing to play. It was great fun to solve the puzzles and enjoy the magical illusions. So if you are looking for a little lightweight distraction, these games are for you …

Secrets of Rætikon

Secrets of Rætikon is a 2D open-world action adventure where one controls a little bird on its way through forests, caves and mountains trying to collect relics to power some ancient device.

It’s maybe not the greatest game of all times, but it was a fun to play and explore.
Some technical issues with the full-screen mode and when playing on the Steam Deck were a bit annoying.
