Viewfinder is a 3D puzzle game where one has to use the images contained in Polaroid-style photographs or 2D artwork to project new scenes/objects into the game’s 3D world in order to teleport from level to level.
Not the longest of games, but with quite a few fun puzzles to solve, certainly a recommendation.
Henry Halfhead is a fun little 3D adventure where you play – guess what – a half head that has the ability to become any object within their reach. In the various stages, following Henry from their childhood to their retirement life, you’ll have to solve various puzzles – some of the literally puzzles – and fullfill various tasks, challenges as well as find hidden treasures/objects.
It’s a fun little game with some nice features and hidden gems .. recommended if you like peaceful gaming.
Jusant is a nice and calm 3D puzzle platform game, where one has to climb a desolate tower, filled with the remains of a long-gone civilization.
Given there’s no enemies, no dialogs, just some letters and notes from people long past and a few ruins and altars to discover, it’s indeed an extremely calm game living mainly through its nice graphics, environmental storytelling and nice game mechanics.
Maybe not for everyone, but I liked it a lot to just relax for couple of minutes here and there …
Journey is a beautiful, calm, 3D platform adventure with an interesting co-op twist. You can team up with another random player and embark on the journey together, but you can’t really communicate with them. Besides this co-op idea, limited jumps, depending on the charge of one’s magical scarf, are another interesting gameplay element.
Whether alone or teamed up, one has to guide a robed figure through various levels/regions toward a distant mountain, using only notes/chimes to communicate with the environment (or the other players).
It’s been extremely enjoyable, also trying to communicate and collaborate with the other players, all without chatting. A definite recommendation …
Metamorphosis is plattform-like puzzle adventure game where one guides Gregor – formerly human, then insect – through a mysterious story trying to save his friend – still human – Joseph from unjust prosecution.
I really enjoyed the change in perspective, the gameplay, the graphics as well as the story, so for me it’s definitely a recommendation …
