Pilgrims is yet another beauty by Amanita Design. In this great little point-and-click adventure game you have to guide an adventurer and some fellow travellers through several quests all set in a mediaeval-looking world. Once again, it’s beautifully drawn and outlined and comes with an interesting user interface as well as various different storylines to end the game.
Certainly a big recommendation for anyone that loves adventure games!!
Chuchel is another fun little point-and-click adventure / puzzle-solving game by Amanita Design. It this treat of a game, you have to help dear little Chuchel – a small I-don’t-know-what-it-is little creature – to retrieve a cherry in a total 30 fun levels/riddles.
As most Amanita Design games, I can only recommend this little beauty, at least for some short-term entertainment in between ;)
Broken Age is a(nother) beautiful, tricky and extremely entertaining adventure by Tome Schafer / Double Fine. It’s a great story – in fact two separate ones to start with – of a boy and girl that independently, yet also together, have to unveil quite a few mysteries … It’s been great fun to play, but be warned it might become addictive ;)
Flashback time! Obviously I have played Day of the Tentacle before, but recently I (re)played the remastered version together with the kids and – once again – (we) loved every bit of it. Manoeuvring Bernard, Hoagie and Laverne through riddles in the past, present, and future has still been lots of fun and – given I seem to have forgotten a lot – a challenge once again.
