Again, I’ll keep you updated ;-)

Yeehaaa!
Finally we managed to get into our new “ATLAS TopOffice” in one of the old villas at DESY Zeuthen with an even nicer view on the lake than I had before :-)
Besides this inprovement we also got new computers and screens and everything … wooow!
Unfortunately I still have to do work there ;-)

Today was our first “Sponsorship Day 2007”: a celebration for everyone giving financial support to our acquisitions related to our new flat!
Roughly half a year ago we asked people to take a sponsorship for one (or more) of our furnitures. And today we had a little dedication party for those guys ;-)
An idea inspired by the Berlin Museum of Natural History and it’s sponsorship program (German webpage).
Btw. there are still objects looking for a sponsor or a personal godfather if you like…
Afterwards we watched the Rugby World Cup Final (England vs. South Africa) along with a number of people not being able to state a single rule in rugby… but hey, you gotta be open minded!
The second book in the Discworld series. A continuation of the advantures of well known wizard Rincewind.
Unfortunately I am still waiting for it’s delivery… since the first time it was sent to me, it ended up at some mysterious Mrs. or Mr. Grtjber’s place (according to Amazon) … as you might guess from the name its a neighbour I do not really have …
Since there also doesn’t seem to be real person behind this name wanting to hand over the parcel to me, I am now waiting for an replacement …
More to read as soon as I get it and finish reading… ;-)
[Update]
I am done … and it’s been another great pleasure! Or to sum up in other words: I’m gonna buy the next one too!
Another book done… This time a classic from Terry Pratchett: The first Discworld novel “The Colour of Magic”. Funny story about a wizard and a tourist along with it’s living luggage experiencing all sorts of things except the expected.
Some sort of fantasy novel as you might have guessed already…
