Wavetale is a 3D action adventure where you guide young Sigrid on her quest to save her fellow islanders from mysterious monsters and uncover secrets about her own family.
It’s a very laid-back ‘action’ adventure with nice visuals (though with a few hiccups here and there), a great soundscape, and some fun (but not too hard) puzzles, garnished with four little racing challenges. I liked it and maybe you will too ;)
The First Tree is a very calm third-person exploration adventure where one follows a mother fox as she searches for her lost cubs, yet interleaved with a parallel story about a couple and the man’s father. The control is sometimes a bit clumsy and imprecise, yet the game is a nice relaxing distraction …
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is a simple yet fun open-world adventure game where you have guide little Alba through an adventure in a fictional island town in Spain.
In the process, Alba has to discover, rescue and protect various animals on the island.
It’s a nice little game, fun to play with the kids!
Spirit of the North is a very calm and relaxing third-person adventure game where you have to guide a little fox and his spirit through a vast and mostly empty world. Once in while you have to save a soul/spirit and in the end more or less the whole world.
If you are looking for a lot of action, this is not your game, but if you want a relaxing time exploring a beautifully crafted world as a fox .. of you go, it’s your little heaven ;)
Despite the lack of action, this have been fun …
Aer: Memories of Old is a nice, relaxing and calm open world ‘action’-adventure published by Daedalic Entertainment, where you – in the role of Auk (both woman and bird) – have to protect a world of islands in the sky from falling into darkness.
Maybe not the longest of stories and not the most challenging riddles, but fun and very soothing to play.
