… is what I just came back from! Back in Geneva, the dinner plan of the French-Danish connection was to have mussles in a gogo place in town. Sounds weird, but isn’t as bad … gogo just means all-you-can-eat for these crazy French/Swiss. Anyway we had on average three big bowles of mussles along with some fries … hmm!
And tomorrow it’s fondue night …

Good end for a (very) long day
After the short night, the morning shift at the pixel desk and the detector meeting I went out to Fort l’Ecluse to chain myself to the mountain and climb some rocks … the Ferrata there is a nice and relaxing ending for a nice day …
And now I need my bed …
The Godfather of Electronic Jazz
Woooooha! What a week … after Paul Kalkbrenner last weekend it was time for the Godfather of Electronic Jazz Mr. Laurent Garnier to play up in l’Usine Geneva … nothing but an outstanding performance!!!
I’ve waited for quite some time to see him (again) …
Together with his live band … yes this DJ has a band fo four other guys following the conductor, him!
Hmmmm … this is a must for everybody that likes even only a tiny bit of electronic music …
After the concert it’s three hours of sleep and then the control room :|
Montagne des Memises
Something about bad signs … after going to bed at about 5h45 this night (which is already kind of a bad preparation, I know) … I also managed to put my alarm an hour too early :| … 8h15 instead of 9h15 … aaargh!
Besides that … it was a beautiful hike … even though we had some rain the great views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains more than made up for it …
Of course the hike is on my webpage by now …
Hiking up Le Mole
On Sunday I had a very nice hike 6h30 up to Le Mole. You can see some part of the extremely nice view from the peak of the mountain.
Besides all the fun, I had to learn (even though one could have guess before) that a single yoghurt for breakfast is not enough for doing a hike like this … hmm! … and I can still feal the way down in my knees … but it was certainly worth it :|
More pictures are in my gallery …
